Work Out Music

So, a friend's question about what workout songs I liked, got me thinking. What are your favorite work-out tunes?

Some of mine are:

1. Bad to the Bone - George Thurgood

2. Crush - Dave Matthews

3. Because I Can - P!nk

4.  Before He Cheats - Carrie Underwood

What about you? What's on your iPod?

  1. Hi KIm! Thanks for your visit. In some ways I am antedeluvian and confess I haven't got an iPod but I suppose my taste is eclectic going back over 70 years. But you said work - out tunes - and one that really gets me going is the New Radicals 'You get what you give.'
    It's on you tube.

  2. Hi Kim,

Thanks for taking the time to visit and comment on my blog.

It's rare to find another male Kim, and even rarer to find one in the US.

I see that other than our names we have a couple of other things in common - I'm also only 5' 7" with longer body and shorter legs. And I'm also given to extended bouts of pondering the universe.

However, I don't have an iPod and I definitely don't work-out. For that, you should check out another Kim Ayres - www.kimayres.com who's a body builder and fitness instructor. She's not male though...

  3. I'm a runner. Current music is Pink's "Bad Influence," a lot of Christina Aguliera, and Britney Spears "Womanizer." (I'm not proud of that last one.) "Crazy Train" by Ozzy never gets old and some of Daughtery's music and even David Cook's "Time of My Life" is good to run to.

  5. I just got an Ipod a couple of weeks ago...my kids uploaded tons of songs for me, think the husband added some classical, but the truth is that I'm not sure because I don't remember to listen to it! Nor do I do a lot of working out...however I'm getting up early to start walking tomorrow, so I'll be back to tell you what I've walked to. Well, I've got to do something to stop the bones creaking!
    Bella :)
