The Thinning of One

The Thinning of One

If I am not careful

With my thoughts

My ideas

Plans

Dreams

I will become thin

On artistic endeavors

Of creativity

Possibilities

Virility

Thin

Is transparent

Lifeless etching

On contemptuous bones

  1. That is a very cool and well made kind of counterpoint poem. And I agree with the idea, it is something I am slowly learning.

  4. I'm not much into free-hand designing now, but I can host you like before (you have your own domain, right? then you can have custom email, yada yada, like when I hosted you before), just let me know and I'll give you the domain name servers to switch to and set up your Wordpress.

  5. does this mean dabbling, doodling? msg me on f.b. (if you want) -- what do you mean here? do you mean dancing around for an unappreciative audience?

  6. RC - what does any poem 'mean?'

my thoughts were that our failure to tend to things that feed our creativity will result in a lost of self that is only experienced as a 'thinning' of oneself - often unknown but in the subsequent loss...

  7. Somehow I can relate deeply to this... of course we all tend to internalize the words we read. But anyway, I like it. :-)
